Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Hostynets (hostynets.app, the mobile app and the browser extension), operated by the individual entrepreneur (FOP) Козачок Ксенія Андріївна, registered in Ukraine ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Hostynets.
• Keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the access tokens you give to our apps and extension.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. The service

Hostynets helps you plan gifts: keep gift ideas and wishlists, track occasions and the people you buy for, get reminders and suggestions, and share with your connections. We keep improving the service and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service - for example, to show a public wishlist to the people you share it with.

Content you mark as public can be seen by anyone. You are responsible for what you post and for having the right to share information about other people.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

• post unlawful, hateful, harassing or misleading content, or impersonate others;
• send spam or abuse invitations, voting or other social features;
• scrape the service, bypass rate limits or plan limits, or interfere with its security or availability;
• use Hostynets to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

6. Shops and third-party links

Gift ideas often link to third-party shops. We are not the seller, and we are not responsible for their products, prices or delivery. Prices and availability we show are fetched automatically and may be out of date.

7. Subscriptions and payments

• The free plan stays free. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings. You keep paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and are not charged again.
• Payments are not refundable, including for partially used periods, except where the law requires otherwise. By starting a paid plan you ask us to give you access immediately, and you acknowledge that any statutory right of withdrawal ends once access begins, where the law allows this.
• If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active for a 3-day grace period. If payment still fails, your account moves to the free plan; your data is kept.
• We will announce price changes in advance. They apply from your next billing period, and you can cancel before then.
• On family and group plans, the plan owner pays for and manages the plan. Members lose paid features if they leave or the plan ends.

8. Ending your use

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Deletion takes effect after a 14-day grace period, during which you can change your mind. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

9. Disclaimers

Hostynets is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and to send reminders on time, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free or that every reminder will arrive. Gift suggestions are ideas, not advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed occasion or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using Hostynets after that, the new terms apply.

These terms are translated for convenience; if versions differ, the English version prevails.
